Construction Project Engineer - Canandaigua
Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Construction Project Engineer. The role involves overseeing construction management, ensuring compliance with contract specifications, and managing various project documentation and inspections.

Responsibilities
Oversee construction management of including on-going construction project and renovations
Review contractor’s Quality Assurance Plan
Oversee and perform three-phase inspections and surveillance of construction work to ensure the work is in accordance with the contract and specifications
Review of design, comment logging and back-checking for Design-Build projects
Monitor submittals utilizing a submittal status log
Review and comment on the accuracy of the construction contractor’s requests for payment
Review and acknowledge daily reports including verification of the project schedule by indicating the activities worked on that day and the activities behind schedule
Maintain orderly working files for correspondence, minutes of meetings and conferences, payments, updated progress schedules, monthly progress reports, punch lists, field changes
Review and process Requests for Information (RFI), and contract documents including amendments, notices to proceed, change orders, modifications, and other locally generated documents developed during the course of construction
Support construction contract modifications
Perform critical path schedule review
Qualification
Required
Must be a US Citizen and must pass a federal background review and drug screen
7+ years of engineering and construction management experience
Experience with construction administration and capability of handling large projects
Bachelor of Science Degree; Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Structural or Geotechnical Engineering
Experience reading construction plans and specifications
Good written communication and organizational skills
Physically mobile in and around construction sites and field assignments
Should enjoy working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
Ability to lift 40 pounds
Preferred
US Army Corp of Engineering or other federal project experience
Experience with Resident Management System (RMS)
