Responsibilities
Support mass production with failure analysis
Support new model groups with new materials/processes qualification and specification testing
Prepare samples for metallurgical evaluation - cutting, grinding, and polishing
Perform metallurgical testing (metallographic, hardness testing, tensile/compression testing, etc.)
Summarize test results in report form and present investigation results
Collection, organization, and analysis of data to develop improvement activity
Qualification
Required
Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
General Business Coursework
Minimum 2.5 Cumulative GPA or higher (You will be required to provide your current transcript)
Class status- Sophomore (by credit hour) or above
Availability to work a minimum of 10 weeks at 40 hours per week
Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program studying Material Science or Metallurgical Engineering
Valid U.S. Driver's License (exceptions considered on a case-by-case basis)
Ability to secure own transportation to and from work each day
