They are seeking a Sales Development Representative to identify new opportunities, connect with potential clients, and introduce them to their transportation services, while developing sales skills through high-volume outreach and collaboration with leadership.

Responsibilities
Drive new business growth through high-volume outbound calling and prospect engagement
Identify and qualify leads across diverse industries by uncovering shipping needs and decision-maker contacts
Present New Age Logistics’ drayage, intermodal, and FTL solutions with confidence and professionalism
Capture and track prospect activity in our CRM system to ensure accurate reporting and follow-up
Schedule introductory calls and hand off qualified leads to senior leadership
Collaborate directly with the President of New Age Logistics to refine outreach strategies and improve results
Learn the ins and outs of freight brokerage and logistics while hitting key performance goals
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Interest in a sales career within the logistics industry
Experience in customer service, hospitality, telemarketing, or other fast-paced, people-facing roles
Strong computer skills and technically savvy
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
Demonstrated resilience and comfort with high-volume outreach and rejection
High degree of accountability and persistence
Strong sense of urgency
Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet daily activity goals
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Team player
Eager to learn and open to different methods of execution
Strong time-management and prioritization skills
Excellent persuasion skills
Excellent communication skills
Travel is required based on operational and customer needs
Preferred
Associate's degree in business, supply chain, or related field
Participation in college-level athletics or other high-discipline extracurriculars
Experience using CRM software (i.e., Salesforce)
Bilingual, English/Spanish
