RTX is working to transform the future of flight by designing, building, and servicing engines. They are seeking a Modular Cell Operator I for a Weekend Shift position, which involves on-the-job training and performing routine assembly operations in aerospace manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Learn to perform routine assembly operations on large sections of current engine designs and a variety of similar assemblies
Learn to work from operation sheets, part travelers, BOROPS, and oral instruction to complete tasks
Learn to verify conformance of finished work to specifications using precision measuring instruments
Obtain operator Certification to be able to accept/reject parts
Learn to maintain machines by performing required total preventive maintenance (TPM)
Learn to work collaboratively with engineers, quality assurance, programmers and other production personnel or others to resolve assembly problems and assist in part process development
This position will reference written work instructions for guidance with daily job activities

Required

High School or GED
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Preferred

1 + years of manufacturing, automotive or related trade experience
Ability to make computations involving decimals and fractions
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
