Responsibilities
Own and execute procurement strategy for direct materials, components, and finished goods supporting manufacturing and distribution operations
Lead supplier sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and performance management across domestic and international vendors
Serve as a key partner to Engineering and Quality on new product introductions, supplier qualification, material changes, and continuous improvement initiatives
Proactively manage supply risk, lead times, and cost volatility while ensuring continuity of supply
Drive cost-reduction and value-creation initiatives through spend analysis, market intelligence, and supplier development
Support inventory planning and production needs in collaboration with Operations and Supply Chain teams
Ensure suppliers meet applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements relevant to plumbing, hydronic, and fluid-handling products
Establish and improve procurement processes, tools, and best practices
Lead and develop procurement or purchasing staff as applicable
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline
5+ years of progressive experience in procurement or strategic sourcing within manufacturing or industrial product environments
Experience sourcing mechanical components, metals, plastics, machined parts, or assemblies
Strong negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to manage supplier relationships and contracts
Comfortable working cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Leadership teams
Experience working within ERP/MRP systems and data-driven procurement environments
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence both internal stakeholders and external suppliers
Preferred
Mandarin speaking ability
Experience sourcing from Asia or managing overseas suppliers
Background in valves, fittings, plumbing, hydronics, or fluid-handling systems
Supply Chain or Procurement certifications (CPSM, CSCP, CPIM)
