Responsibilities

Provide support for the Allied Radio Matrix for Emergency Response System (ARMER) services at MnDOT

Responsible for implementation, administration, and troubleshooting of applications and systems utilized by the ARMER infrastructure

Work in cooperation with MnDOT ARMER staff and other agencies that utilize the ARMER system to maintain highly available services for the State of Minnesota

Required

A minimum of three (3) years of information technology application support services

Active Directory and Windows Server (2016 or newer)

COTS application installation in a windows network environment, and Network applications administration

Network Switches, routers, and firewalls

Network IP addressing and DNS, and Network connectivity and troubleshooting

Network Firewall administration and configuration

Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a manner that facilitates mutual understanding

Customer-focused approach grounded in active listening, empathy, and solution-oriented problem-solving to deliver positive user experiences

Education in Information Technology (IT) or an IT related field may substitute for experience as follows: a master's degree for eighteen (18) months of experience; a bachelor's degree for one (1) year; and an associate's degree for six (6) months
