Community Outreach Associate, Fundraising
WeVote is a 100% volunteer-powered, nonpartisan nonprofit that uses technology to help voters make informed decisions. The Community Outreach Associate, Fundraising will engage potential donors and community partners, support fundraising campaigns, and coordinate outreach activities to increase voter turnout.

Responsibilities
Identify and engage potential donors and community partners through outreach, events, and digital engagement
Build relationships with local organizations, campuses, and civic groups to promote awareness and fundraising opportunities
Support fundraising campaigns by helping volunteers reach their networks with compelling, ready-to-share materials and messaging
Encourage and train volunteers to make effective donation asks, share impact stories, and grow our base of individual supporters
Coordinate outreach activities such as presentations, tabling, and online engagement to reach new donor audiences
Collaborate with the Communications and Recruitment teams to align messaging and share stories of impact
Track outreach metrics and community engagement results to inform future fundraising strategy
Represent the organization with enthusiasm, professionalism, and commitment to our mission
Qualification
Required

You are striving for personal excellence, and want to do meaningful work that will make a difference
1–2 years of experience in community outreach, fundraising, or public engagement (nonprofit experience preferred)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills — comfortable connecting with diverse audiences
Energetic, organized, and motivated by mission-driven work
A willingness to work with and support other volunteers
5+ hours per week during our core team hours M-F 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. PT
Preferred
Experience with volunteer engagement or ambassador programs a plus
