Responsibilities

Collaborate with functional leaders to understand business problems and identify opportunities for data-driven solutions

Lead or contribute to all phases of data science projects, including problem definition, data sampling, extraction, processing, and deployment

Perform exploratory data analysis and engineer features using advanced techniques (e.g., label encoding, target encoding, time-series, polynomial interactions, binning, outlier handling)

Select features and optimize machine learning models through hyperparameter tuning

Track experiments for A/B testing and reproducibility, evaluate model performance and interpretability, and communicate results

Promote data science best practices and stay current with new developments in the field
