Responsibilities
Manage and oversee civil engineering projects, from planning to design and construction
Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and deliverables
Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure project goals are met
Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technical staff
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and engineering standards
Prepare and review engineering reports, calculations, and construction documents
Conduct site visits, inspections, and progress meetings as needed
Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring quality and safety standards are met
Support business development efforts by assisting with proposals, client presentations, and relationship-building
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
5+ years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 2 years in a project management role
PE license required or ability to obtain within six months
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other engineering software
Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Preferred
Master's degree preferred
Experience in transportation, roadway design, site development, or infrastructure projects is preferred
PMP certification is a plus
