The Alfred Foundation is associated with Bayside Health, a public health service in Australia. They are seeking a Clinical Data Manager to support clinical trials in melanoma and skin cancer, responsible for data management, quality assurance, and collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Responsible for all aspects of timely and accurate data management in compliance with national and international regulatory legislations relating to medical information and Good Clinical Practice

Involves the development of database templates and trial data management processes, implementing quality assurance activities, and performing data cleaning and data validation to ensure robust datasets

Depends on communication and collaboration to build relationships and manage each project with MASC Trials stakeholders

May assist in the preparation of research output including publications and presentations

Required

Tertiary qualifications in Health Information Management, Life Sciences or equivalent with substantial relevant professional experience

Experience in the use of Electronic Data Capture (EDC) Software such as REDCap, including data validation and cleaning, building databases and data extractions (reports/queries)

A proactive and solution-focused attitude towards problem-solving

Accuracy, strong attention to detail, highly developed organisational skills and proven ability to establish priorities, manage tasks, exercise sound judgement and work to multiple, tight and conflicting deadlines

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with sound negotiating and conflict resolution skills and a demonstrated level of tact and discretion
