Responsibilities
Design and deliver integrated warehouse automation solutions incorporating robotics, AGVs, AMRs, ASRS, and advanced conveyor systems for large-scale distribution center projects
Analyze operational requirements to develop scalable strategies that optimize workflow, space utilization, and throughput
Partner with cross-functional teams—including operations, IT, and external technology providers—to define system specifications, solution architecture, and project timelines
Develop CAD layouts, process simulations, and technical documentation to support proposals and execution plans
Support solution implementation and commissioning, ensuring alignment with project objectives, safety standards, and budget targets
Evaluate emerging automation technologies and tools to drive continuous improvement and innovation
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in design engineering within automated warehousing, logistics, or supply chain environments
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline
Strong hands-on experience with warehouse automation technologies, including robotics, AGVs, AMRs, ASRS, conveyors, and WMS platforms
Proficiency in CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent, along with simulation and modeling software
Proven ability to deliver complex automation projects from concept through operational deployment
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and external suppliers
Willingness to travel to project sites as required
