WGL - Project Performance and Data Supervisor

Responsibilities
Establish and maintain project and program-level control systems including budget data capture, change management, and earned value tracking
Review and approve cost forecasts, estimates, funding logs, and cash flow projections
Ensure alignment with funding budgets and financial reporting requirements
Lead monthly cost-to-complete reviews with project managers and finance teams
Oversee the development and maintenance of baseline and forecast schedule integration between key systems and Primavera P6
Develop and maintain reporting that provides effective visibility into schedule performance
Develop and manage standardized reporting frameworks including dashboards, heat maps, KPI scorecards, variance analysis, and executive summaries
Manage monthly reporting cycles, integrating cost, schedule, risk, and compliance data into actionable insights
Ensure consistent reporting standards across all projects within the program
Translate complex data into executive-ready visuals and summaries
Champion and coordinate data quality and data assurance activities necessary with maintaining situational awareness and actionable project reporting
Serve as the key liaison for integrating project control systems with enterprise tools such as ARM, ERP, Power BI, and document control platforms
Lead the implementation and optimization of digital dashboards and business intelligence tools for purposes of capital project delivery
Ensure that reporting provides real-time insights and drive informed decision-making
Collaborate with IT and data governance teams to ensure data integrity and interoperability
Serve as primary Liaison with Digital team for matters related to key systems of record / data management pertinent to capital projects
Monitor and control change order workflows; quantify and document cost and schedule impacts
Facilitate change control and maintain governance
Supervise and mentor staff
Interface regularly with internal stakeholders, executive teams, and contractors
Lead presentations and reporting for monthly review meetings and steering committees
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/GED required
5+ Years of professional work experience in the areas of construction and data management & analytics that includes a general knowledge of construction management business processes and operations required
Demonstrated ability to logically and concisely write and present complex ideas to diverse audiences
Demonstrated ability to successfully meet numerous and competing deadlines, often under tight time constraints
Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and effective working relationships with business partners, supervisors, subordinates, and peers
Ability to utilize SQL or Python to develop and optimize queries for data extraction, and create interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI, enabling stakeholders to visualize KPIs and make informed decisions
Advanced Excel skills for data modeling, pivot tables, and scenario analysis to support forecasting and performance tracking
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree preferred
2+ Years of supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
Working knowledge of Washington Gas company operations preferred
Working knowledge of company systems such as the Work Management system (WMIS), Complaint Management system (Salesforce), Customer Information System (SAP) and Invoice Payment system (PeopleSoft) preferred
