Technical Sales Engineer
EXOS is a company focused on providing technical solutions, and they are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to collaborate with customers and the sales team. The role involves engineering sales opportunities related to cable infrastructure and security systems, developing proposals, and ensuring project completion on budget while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with customers and the sales team on job site visits to verify the accuracy of proposals and scope of work
Engineer all sales opportunities related to cable infrastructure, security, surveillance, and access control systems and build into an accurate and detailed proposal
Develop detailed scope of work for projects to align with customer needs and specifications
Leverage extensive experience with all systems through installation, hands-on work, or estimating and engineering to provide expert guidance
Engage with clients to understand their requirements, present solutions, and build lasting relationships
Ensure that all engineered projects are completed on budget, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in a sales engineering role or related fields
Extensive knowledge of cable infrastructure, security, surveillance, and access control systems
Strong technical background, with hands-on experience in installation or engineering
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Must be based in the Evansville, Indiana area or willing to relocate
