Responsibilities

Collaborate directly with the project PI and communicate regularly regarding project status
Serve as a statistical consultant to the project PI
Synthesize, analyze and interpret quantitative data
Conduct scholarly literature searches and reviews of prior research as needed for evaluation projects and papers
Prepare and write detailed reports to clients compiling and summarizing findings, and makes recommendations for program improvements, policies, and follow-up research
Participate with the team and the clients in planning follow-up studies and dissemination of results of completed studies

Required

Master's Degree in statistics or from an education program with a strong emphasis in statistics
Six years' experience as a quantitative researcher on applied research projects
Skilled in applied statistics, particularly with hierarchical linear modeling and multivariate analyses
Effective communicator
Skilled at conducting literature reviews
Skilled at technical and scholarly writing in education areas
Skilled in serving as a statistical consultant
Skilled at project management and leadership

Preferred

PhD in Statistics or from an education program with a strong emphasis in statistics and quantitative research methods
Five plus years' experience as lead quantitative education researcher
