Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end investment operations processes, including trade settlement, reconciliation, and cash management to ensure timely and accurate execution

Service Platinum NMIS Operations Clients to include: Employer sponsored plan rollover calls; Direct to fund account opening and paperwork; Advisory tax loss harvesting including wash sale avoidance assistance; Signature Choice/Signature Port Management including trading, proposals, fund selection, multi-account management, allocation strategy, off research fund options and nonqualified account analysis with tax minimization

Foster relationships with advisors to demonstarte value of higher tiers of NMIS Operations engaging in growth for NMIS Ops subscriptions, and thus, network office revenue

Assist Career advisors with cross sell opportunity as well as risk mitigation through enhanced reporting and deeper level account analysis

Assist in training/coaching of career advisors on planning tools and platforms

Conduct detailed financial analysis to support investment decisions and monitor portfolio performance metrics

Prepare and review regulatory reports, ensuring adherence to governmental accounting standards and industry regulations

Utilize financial software tools for data analysis, reporting, and process automation to improve operational efficiency

Collaborate with legal and compliance teams on securities law updates and ensure all activities align with current regulations governing investment management and financial services

Required

Proven experience in investment management operations or a related financial services field with a strong understanding of financial concepts such as securities law, corporate accounting, and banking procedures

Background in public accounting or governmental accounting is highly desirable, providing a solid foundation in regulatory reporting and technical accounting standards

Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, cash management, and the use of financial software platforms for operational tasks

Strong analytical skills combined with excellent attention to detail; ability to interpret complex financial data accurately

Effective communication skills for collaborating across teams and explaining technical concepts clearly
