Co-Op/Intern- Kentucky Energy and Environment Cabinet (EEC)
The Commonwealth of Kentucky's Energy and Environment Cabinet (EEC) is seeking interns to assist in various functions related to environmental protection and public health. Interns will accompany field staff on site visits, assist in inspections, and collaborate on projects with full-time employees.

Accompanying field staff on site visits
Assisting full time employees in performing inspections in addition to reviewing and analyzing data that was collected
Work with other interns and full-time staff on collaborative projects
Qualification
Required
Must be a student in pursuit of a degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Physical Sciences (recent graduates will be considered)
3.0 GPA
Great communication skills
Strong technical and analytical skills
Self-starter, motivated, and eager to learn
Basic knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Must be enrolled on a full-time basis in high school as a junior or senior or enrolled at an accredited Kentucky post-secondary school or other educational institutions approved by the Kentucky Personnel Cabinet
Applicants must furnish proof of enrollment in such a program to the Personnel Cabinet
Must maintain any required licensure(s), certification(s), or other credentials for the length of employment in this job classification
