They are seeking a Software Implementation Specialist responsible for testing, commissioning, and supporting software solutions at customer sites, while also engaging in customer interaction and troubleshooting tasks.

Responsibilities
Write test plans and test scripts based on the system specifications
Perform pre-site software quality assurance testing aligned to software development activities
Installing, starting-up and troubleshooting automation software and equipment including: Installing servers, setting up work stations, some networking
Lead the execution of the site software validation test plan
Diagnose the software database structures for customer implementations and query databases to troubleshooting testing scenarios
Capture, summarize and communicate test results and progress with team members and our customer
Onsite project coordination with Project Managers, Sales Consultants and Customers
Participate in system acceptance testing, provide customer startup support and train end users with application workflows
Read and interpret application logs, identify system issues, propose solutions
Utilize remote desktop connection/virtual machines (VM)
Provide input into installation subcontractor selection. Occasionally for smaller projects the Site Supervisor may hire local personnel and perform the installation "in-house"
Qualification

Up to 75% overnight travel (Travel expenses paid by Bastian Solutions)
Must be eligible to work in the USA long term without sponsorship
Preferred
Preferred degrees: CIS, MIS, IT or other technical related major
Excellent troubleshooting abilities and analytical skills on both software and hardware
Ability to learn technical systems including networks and databases quickly. SQL knowledge is a plus
Strong demonstrated sense of customer service
Experience with enterprise software systems, IT or process automation a plus
