Human Resources Business Partner

TechFlow, Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to act as a strategic HR advisor for four business units in a government contracting environment. This role involves managing employee relations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and administering HR documentation and benefits.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and collective bargaining agreements. Stay updated on changes in labor legislation and advise management on necessary adjustments
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with privacy and confidentiality standards
Address employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances, working towards resolutions that align with company policies and union agreements. Conduct investigations into workplace issues and provide recommendations for resolution
Collaborate with union representatives to establish and maintain positive working relationships. Participate in negotiations, grievance resolution, and other labor-related processes
Conduct onboarding sessions, ensuring new employees are familiar with company policies and union agreements
Ensure compliance of required training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of employees in line with the company's objectives and legal requirements
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other related benefits

Required

Experience in a strategic HR role, preferably in a government contracting environment

Ability to collaborate effectively with union representatives
Experience in onboarding and training compliance
Knowledge of benefits administration, including health insurance and retirement plans
Strong judgment and discretion in navigating complex labor environments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
