Responsibilities
Develop interactive and visually appealing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI
Create and maintain data models, DAX calculations, and Power Query transformations
Connect Power BI to various data sources (SQL Server, Azure, APIs, Excel, etc.)
Implement ETL processes and optimize data refresh strategies
Ensure reports and dashboards are optimized for performance and scalability
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data accuracy and performance
Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into BI solutions
Collaborate with data engineers and analysts for seamless data integration
Implement row-level security, manage workspaces, and follow best practices for data governance
Utilize advanced DAX functions and Power BI features for predictive and trend analysis
Document processes, data models, and provide training to end-users
Qualification
Required
8–10 years of experience in BI development, with at least 5+ years in Power BI
Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M language), and data modeling
Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases
Experience with Azure services (Data Factory, Synapse, etc.) is a plus
Ability to analyze complex data sets and deliver actionable insights
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
Preferred
Knowledge of Python/R for advanced analytics
Experience with Power BI Premium, Paginated Reports, and Power BI Service administration
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
