Responsibilities
Lead EHS strategy, programs, and compliance across all plants
Develop and coach a high-performing team of EHS professionals to achieve site goals and KPIs
Partner with Division Safety to drive Significant Injury and Fatality (SIF) prevention initiatives
Collaborate with engineering and facilities to implement Management of Change (MOC) and Contractor Safety programs
Establish, track, and report critical EHS performance metrics to plant and Division leadership
Lead and audit core EHS programs including lockout/tagout, confined space, machine guarding, fall protection, electrical safety, ergonomics, and behavior-based safety
Support sites with regulatory and corporate reporting; ensure accuracy and timeliness
Monitor regulatory changes and emerging EHS risks; proactively communicate impacts
Partner with Division Environmental teams to maintain environmental compliance
Participate in operational and safety reviews across all sites
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field
15+ years of EHS leadership experience, including multi-site responsibility
Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state regulatory requirements
Experience implementing ISO 45001 or similar EHS management systems
Heavy manufacturing experience required
Proven success driving safety culture change and continuous improvement
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles (6S, Kaizen)
Strong communication, training, and influencing skills
Ability to work flexible hours; limited travel (5–10%) required
Preferred
Operations leadership experience preferred
Experience with Oregon safety and environmental regulations preferred
