Senior Vice President of Sales
QP Group is partnered with an exciting biomarker discovery SME in the US seeking a seasoned sales leader to drive their commercial growth. The role involves shaping the sales strategy, building customer relationships, and driving revenue as the company enters its next stage of growth.
Responsibilities
Defines and execute a US sales strategy that accelerates adoption of the company’s technologies across research, clinical, and biopharma markets
Builds, coaches, and scales a high-performing commercial team as the business grows
Drives new customer acquisition while expanding existing accounts through strong relationships and consultative selling
Partners closely with the CEO, leadership team, and product/marketing to align go-to-market execution
Establishes scalable processes for forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting
Leads by example in the field, engaging directly with key customers and partners
Qualification
Required
10+ years experience leading and growing successful teams across life sciences
12+ years of commercial leadership experience within life sciences
Proven track record of scaling sales organisations in high-growth or start-up environments
Comfortable being both strategic and hands-on — from setting direction to closing key deals
Deep understanding of the US life sciences and healthcare landscape
Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team in a fast-paced setting
