Part-time Custoner Relations Representative (Senior Software Engineer)
KRON Development is a software studio based in Osaka, working with clients across Europe and the Middle East, and now expanding in the US. They are seeking an experienced Software Engineer who will act as a bridge between clients and the engineering team, clarifying requirements and ensuring effective communication. This part-time, fully remote role involves joining client calls, translating needs into actionable tasks, and maintaining client relationships.

Responsibilities
Join video calls with clients (discovery, status, follow-up)
Ask the right questions, gather and clarify technical requirements, and shape user stories
Translate client needs into clear, actionable tasks for our developers
Explain technical decisions, trade-offs, and progress in simple, non-technical language
Prepare short, clear meeting notes and follow-up action items
Keep clients informed about timelines, risks, and blockers before they become problems
Spot upsell/cross-sell opportunities and support light sales conversations when it makes sense
Build long-term, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Native-level English (spoken and written) - you're confident leading calls with US clients
5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or in a closely related technical role
Strong understanding of modern software development (web, mobile, APIs, cloud)
You're good at 'translating' between tech and business and keeping everyone aligned
Comfortable with US time zones and communication style
Organized and reliable - you follow up, close loops, and document decisions clearly
Able to work independently in a fully remote environment
Preferred
Previous work with US-based clients
Experience in customer success, account management, or pre-sales
Background in FinTech, eCommerce, or AI projects
