Responsibilities
Support in leading close processes, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and continuous improvement of the close cycle
Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger activity
Record and review complex intercompany transactions and ensure proper eliminations and consolidation accuracy
Partner with FP&A during close to analyze results, support budget vs. actual (BvA) reporting, and provide insights into key drivers and variances
Support in accounting system integrations and implementation projects to improve automation and drive process improvements that reduce manual effort and increase scalability
Ensure compliance with GAAP across all accounting and financial reporting activities
Act as a key business partner to the Controller
Supervise, mentor, and develop future direct reports as the accounting team expands
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA or CPA track preferred
4–6+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong understanding of full cycle accounting and the month end close process
Proven experience supporting system integrations and accounting system implementations
Advanced proficiency in accounting software; NetSuite experience a plus
Strong Excel and data analysis skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, reconciliations)
Experience with automation tools and system integrations
Detail-oriented, and proactive
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments
Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast paced environment with evolving priorities
