Responsibilities
Provides technical support to customers and sales team by responding to inquiries on product information and capabilities
Responsible for solving technical problems by devising solutions to implement at customer locations based on previous customer feedback or requests
Responds to customer complaints, isolates problems and reports results to Product Development team
Maintains the Company industry presence by representing at industry conferences & trade shows. Conducts/develops customer presentations, web seminars, publications, articles, etc
Produces call reports, monthly summaries of active projects, updates as required and distributes
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in science, engineering, polymer science, or a related technical field is required
Minimum of 10 years of experience in polymer processing or technical services, including at least 3 years leading major accounts or strategic technical initiatives in a polymer-related industry
Expert knowledge of color concentrates, plastics compounding, and processing technologies required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
Excellent facility with computer information systems and windows-based PC software applications
Preferred
An advanced degree or equivalent experience is a plus
Experience with CRM systems or industry thought leadership (e.g., publications, presentations) is highly desirable
