A&P Aircraft Mechanic

W3Global is seeking an A&P Aircraft Mechanic responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of flight school aircraft. The mechanic will ensure all work complies with company procedures and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Must have strong interpersonal and team building skills
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
Must have the ability to read and understand technical data such as maintenance manuals, parts catalogs, engineering drawings, service bulletins, and airworthiness directives
Must have knowledge of federal regulations relating to Title 14 parts 43 and 91
Assure that work areas are kept clean and organized
Must be able to be flexible and work all shifts on an as needed basis
Can work independently with the ability to make airworthiness decisions
Ability to manage workflow and adjust priorities as needed
Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and perform maintenance on company aircraft in accordance with applicable technical data and FAA regulations
Will be required to make aircraft logbook entries and release aircraft for return to service
Must be familiar with Microsoft Office and able to learn Talon RMS computer maintenance program

Required

Airframe and plant licenses are required at the time of hire
A minimum of three recent and consecutive years of GA experience as a certificated A&P
Must have strong interpersonal and team building skills
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
Must have the ability to read and understand technical data such as maintenance manuals, parts catalogs, engineering drawings, service bulletins, and airworthiness directives
Must have knowledge of federal regulations relating to Title 14 parts 43 and 91

Preferred

Experience on Piper aircraft is preferred
G1000 experience is a plus
Flexible/adaptable to fast changing pace and instructions according to flight school priorities
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Aircraft maintenance: 3 years (Preferred)
Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
