Staff Assistant
Commonwealth of Kentucky is seeking a Staff Assistant for the Kentucky Public Pensions Authority. This role involves supporting the Executive Director of Operations/CFO and the Compliance Officer in implementing initiatives, coordinating compliance monitoring, and managing relevant documentation.

Responsibilities
Assist with the evaluation, execution, and completion of complex strategic plan and project initiatives
Assist with developing an enterprise-wide compliance program for KPPA, as well as developing, documenting, monitoring, testing, and enhancing the investment compliance program for KPPA
Assist with the review of employer reporting compliance and education departmental processes and internal policies
Work with the accounting division on implementation, review, and enhancement of internal controls over financial reporting, including use of specific software where applicable (Workiva, Emars, GreatPlains, LOB, Visio, etc.)
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree
Six years of administrative or management experience
A master's degree will substitute for one year of the required experience
Additional administrative, management, or research experience will substitute for the required education on a year for year basis
Preferred
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Adobe Acrobat, etc.)
Enhanced knowledge and experience with Excel, Tableau, coding, and any other software used to analyze data and present results of such analysis
Investment compliance knowledge or experience
Process improvement certification and experience (e.g. Lean Six Sigma, Business Process Management, Kaizen, etc.)
