Responsibilities
You’ll work on analyzing and designing data structures to support various applications, new features, taking these from concept to deployment, as part of our cross functional teams
Qualification
Required
10+ years of hands-on experience as a database developer in Oracle
Strong data analysis, design, and coding skills
Strong RDBMS skills – SQL querying, writing stored procedures, triggers, functions, pipeline functions, views, table partitioning
Knows how to restrict access through roles, user privileges and object privileges
Has done performance tuning of stored procedures and queries
Has used SQL Loader to load large files
Experience working with OLTP Systems
Has used SQL Plus command
Knowledge of Oracle AQ messaging
Has developed Python scripts for data handling
Comfortable working on Linux servers and writing shell programs
Experience working with team in Agile methodology
5+ years work experience in financial industry preferably in Capital markets/Prime brokerage
Understand glossaries and terminologies in financial industry
Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams
Good communication skill to both technology folks and business partners
Quick learner, adaptable, has the right attitude to work across teams to find and deploy solutions
Committed to timely and quality deliverables
Team player
Bachelor's or master's Degree in a technology related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) required with 10+ years of experience
Preferred
Knowledge of core java is a plus
AWS Cloud experience is a plus
Knowledge of accounting concepts is nice to have
Prime Brokerage application development experience is a plus
