Learning Management System Administrator

The LMS Administrator will manage and optimize the Learning Management System to ensure a seamless learner experience and support training and development initiatives across the organization.

Responsibilities
Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions while maintaining accurate learner and system data
Oversee LMS integrations with UKG and other business systems, as needed
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and coordinate with LMS vendor support when required
Ensure system stability, security, and data integrity
Upload, organize, and maintain courses, learning plans, and certifications within the LMS
Test xAPI packages to ensure proper functionality and tracking
Maintain version control and enforce consistent naming conventions, tagging, and accessibility standards
Create and update course, learning plan, and asset thumbnails to support a clear and engaging learner experience
Create and distribute reports and dashboards related to course completions, adoption, and learner engagement
Track learning metrics that support onboarding, compliance, and leadership development programs
Analyze learning data to provide insights and recommendations based on learning data to support workforce development and compliance needs
Serve as the first point of contact for learners and managers with LMS-related questions or issues
Maintain a learner Help Center, including self-service resources and guides
Train employees and managers on how to use the LMS effectively
Collect user feedback and recommend enhancements to improve usability and overall learner experience
Partner with Learning & Development team members to test, launch, and support new learning content and initiatives
Maintain system documentation, workflows, and LMS best practices
Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, or enhance LMS processes to improve efficiency and scalability
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Education, Information Technology, or a related field
Proven experience as an LMS Administrator or in a similar learning technology role, with hands-on experience managing Learning Management Systems
Strong technical aptitude, including familiarity with LMS platforms (e.g., Docebo, Inkling, Canvas) and e-learning standards such as SCORM, AICC, and xAPI
Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to LMS functionality, integrations, and user support
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including sorting, filtering, and basic analysis of LMS data for reporting and insights
Ability to analyze learning data and identify trends across completion, engagement, and adoption metrics to inform recommendations and improvements
High attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to support and train users across varying technical skill levels
