They are seeking a Career Advisor II to provide information, guidance, and assistance to job seekers and employers, facilitating connections and promoting job opportunities through various programs.

Responsibilities
Act as a liaison between the center and local businesses
Identify employer needs and promote job opportunities
Facilitate connections between businesses and potential candidates
Develop recruitment strategies and organize job fairs (hiring events)
Conduct outreach to local companies and maintain relationships with employers to understand their workforce requirements
Collaborate with career advisors and job seekers to provide guidance on job market trends and effective application techniques
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution and one year of experience in human resource administration, case management, job development and placement, employment counseling, vocational guidance and counseling, social work, vocational rehabilitation, claims analysis, or related public contact work dealing with job applicants and employers in a variety of functions
Associate degree and three years of experience in human resource administration, case management, job development and placement, employment counseling, vocational guidance and counseling, social work, vocational rehabilitation, claims analysis, or related public contact work dealing with job applicants and employers in a variety of functions or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to build and maintain relationships with local businesses and community organizations
Ability to manage multiple tasks and events, such as job fairs (hiring events) and employer outreach initiatives
Ability to work well with diverse populations, understanding the needs of both the employers and candidates
Ability to communicate orally and in written form effectively with a variety of individuals both internal and external to the organization
Knowledge of job search strategies, resume writing and interview preparation techniques to assist job seekers
