Responsibilities

Implement, configure, and support JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Financial Management modules , including:
General Ledger (GL)
Accounts Payable (AP)
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Fixed Assets (FA)
Taxes & VAT
Perform financial setup , chart of accounts design, AAIs, ledger types, and fiscal calendars
Support month-end and year-end close activities within JDE
Conduct fit-gap analysis , solution design, and functional documentation
Prepare functional specifications for technical development and custom reports
Configure and support Mexican Electronic Accounting requirements in JDE, including:
Chart of Accounts (COA) mapping to SAT codes
Trial Balance (Balanza de Comprobación)
Journal Entries (Pólizas)
Account Catalog (Catálogo de Cuentas)
Ensure compliance with SAT electronic accounting XML generation and submission
Support CFDI integration (AP, AR, and payroll-related transactions)
Manage VAT, withholding taxes , and localization rules specific to Mexico
Coordinate testing and validation of electronic accounting files prior to SAT submission
Work with technical teams on:
Localization patches
Reports and XML output enhancements
Interfaces with tax authorities or third-party CFDI providers
Lead UAT , data validation, and reconciliation activities
Provide post-go-live support , issue resolution, and user training
Collaborate with auditors and tax teams for compliance reviews

Required

5+ years of experience as a JD Edwards Finance Functional Consultant
Hands-on experience with Mexican Electronic Accounting in JDE
Strong knowledge of SAT regulations and electronic accounting mandates
In-depth understanding of GL, AP, AR, FA, and Mexican tax rules
Experience with CFDI and localization setups
Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field

Preferred

Experience with JDE Tools, Orchestrator, or BI Publisher
Exposure to JDE upgrades or localization rollouts
Prior experience in manufacturing, retail, or shared services environments
Bilingual (Spanish & English)
