Responsibilities

Develop and implement SRE strategies to ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance through analyzing of operational data

Implement cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or performance

Utilize an incident management platform to analyze and find incident hot spots and work alongside technical leaders to remediate

Enhance developer productivity by identifying and implementing efficient tools and workflows

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in engineering practices

Set a business vision and strategy for reliability and productivity within the engineering excellence organization

Communicate effectively with senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations

Work with finance and engineering teams to develop a framework to track and manage budgets related to Engineering initiatives

Develop and communicate a clear vision for SRE and DevOps, aligning it with business objectives

Establish Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs) to measure system performance and reliability

Drive the adoption of DevOps principles and practices, promoting automation and collaboration between development and operations teams

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)

10+ years of experience in engineering operations, with a focus on DevOps & SRE

Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving strategic initiatives

Strong technical expertise in SRE practices, automation, and observability tools

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to diverse audiences

Leadership experience with a focus on building and executing strategic roadmaps

Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth technology environment

Experience leading global teams and managing managers

Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

Experience in incident management platforms (e.g., PagerDuty, Opsgenie)
