Responsibilities

Manage all core accounting operations including general ledger, revenue recognition, inventory, fixed assets, accounts payable/receivable, and cash flow

Prepare, review, and interpret financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports

Lead and supervise finance and accounting staff, providing oversight on daily tasks and special projects

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial and operational data, identifying cost drivers and performance trends

Develop, document, and monitor financial processes for closing cycles, billing, invoicing, expenses, and reimbursements in compliance with GAAP, SOX, and applicable regulations

Review legal agreements to ensure accurate booking and payment of expenses in accordance with contract terms

Oversee monthly close procedures including journal entries and variance reporting

Lead the development and analysis of annual budgets, forecasts, and bonus calculations tied to performance metrics

Work closely with executive leadership to standardize financial reporting and track performance against projections

Coordinate data collection and documentation for financial forecasts and activity reporting

Conduct internal audits and financial risk assessments, proposing and implementing corrective actions when needed

Deliver timely and accurate financial reports for executive leadership and investors

Prepare all year-end tax documentation for the organization and relevant third parties

Perform additional duties as needed
