Responsibilities
This applied technology position will be involved in creating and managing the software that controls the operation of many Cummins’ products in a variety of end use applications
This applied technology position will be involved in the identification and understanding of stakeholder requirements, specifications and the design, implementation, testing and/or release of software that interact with Cummins’ products in a variety of customer applications
This applied technology position creates and integrates electrical and electronic hardware that is essential to Cummins products
People in these positions will typically develop and validate electronic sensors, actuators, control units, harnesses, wiring practices, or control systems and associated analog and digital signals to ensure the consistent operation of Cummins’ products in a variety of customer applications
This product focused position tailors’ electronic and electrical systems for Cummins products
People in these positions will translate product requirements into hardware and software technical requirements that control the operation of Cummins’ products in a variety of customer applications
Qualification
Required
Involvement in creating and managing software that controls the operation of products
Identification and understanding of stakeholder requirements and specifications
Design, implementation, testing and/or release of software that interacts with products
Creation and integration of electrical and electronic hardware
Development and validation of electronic sensors, actuators, control units, harnesses, wiring practices, or control systems
Translation of product requirements into hardware and software technical requirements
