Rampulla Associates Architects is seeking an Intermediate Architect to prepare and maintain architectural drawings for various building structures. The role involves performing complex drafting assignments, collaborating with clients and consultants, and ensuring adherence to NYC Building Codes and Zoning Resolutions.

Responsibilities

Perform non-routine and complex drafting assignments requiring applications of standardized drawing techniques

Possess knowledge of N.Y.C. Building Code and Zoning Resolutions

Preparation of design development and construction documents for approval and construction

Confer with client or client representative in conjunction with Job Captain/Architectural Director to determine project requirements and maintain confidentiality

Coordinate all details, dimensions, notations and specifications as required

Perform field tasks including but not limited to measure and draft existing conditions, photography of affected areas and verification of information received from others

Perform site planning, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and acoustical engineering and coordination

Collaborate with consultants and coordinate construction documents and specifications as required

Maintain adequate timelines for projects

Notify Project Manager/Architectural Director of successfully completed or finished projects

All documentation to be maintained in office folders in a neat and orderly fashion

Perform other related duties as assigned
