The ideal candidate will manage complex commercial disputes from inception through resolution, including legal research, drafting, and court appearances.

Legal research and drafting of memoranda, motions, and briefs
Managing discovery and document review
Conducting depositions and preparing witnesses
Appearing in court and participating in trials and arbitrations
Collaborating with partners and clients to develop case strategy
Qualification
Required
2-5 years of commercial litigation experience
New York admission required
Familiarity with procedures and protocols in New York state and federal courts and major arbitration forums
Strong analytical, research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Effective and professional communication with clients, courts, and colleagues
Ability to manage multiple matters independently and take ownership of assignments
Technological proficiency, including e-Discovery
Genuine enthusiasm and passion for the practice of law
Preferred
Bankruptcy and restructuring experience is a strong plus
Admission in New Jersey is preferred
Admission in Florida and/or Delaware is a plus
