Responsibilities
Engineer the Future: Design, develop, qualify, and validate manufacturing processes and tooling/equipment
Facilitate Transitions: Support facility transfer projects and quality systems tactical plans that ensure seamless operations
Champion Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, boost efficiency, and deliver cost reductions
Collaborate & Execute: Thrive in cross-functional project teams while independently managing and executing critical project tasks
Test & Validate: Conduct comprehensive mechanical/electrical testing and perform detailed Gage R&R studies
Analyze & Optimize: Apply statistical analysis expertise to process capability assessments and Design of Experiments
Problem Solve: Troubleshoot complex processes, equipment, and quality systems while developing and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions
Make Critical Decisions: Provide sound Engineering judgment
Material Mastery: Demonstrate expert knowledge of materials for plant product designs within your areas of responsibility
Supply Chain Excellence: Qualify and validate new materials and suppliers to ensure optimal product performance
Knowledge Transfer: Effectively train manufacturing teams on specifications and processes, empowering them for success
Documentation Leadership: Author comprehensive Change Requests, protocols, technical reports, and Authorization for Expenditure documents
Bridge the Gap: Serve as the vital technical interface between engineering and manufacturing teams, ensuring seamless communication
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering or other technical field of study OR
Five (5) years engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience with SolidWorks
Preferred
Experience with AutoCAD
Experience with PDM
Transfer project experience
