Responsibilities
Provide expert tax advisory, research, and planning services across industries, specializing in complex and high-value matters
Lead and manage multiple client engagements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, timely completion, and budget adherence
Review and supervise preparation of corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns, ensuring precision and regulatory compliance
Conduct in-depth tax research, resolve complex tax issues, and stay current with evolving laws and regulations
Oversee client relationships, billing, and collections, identifying opportunities to provide additional value-added services
Apply deep knowledge of federal, state, and local tax issues affecting privately held businesses, their owners, and related entities
Mentor, train, and develop staff, fostering a collaborative, growth-focused team culture
Contribute to firm growth through business development, recruiting, and continuous process improvement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Advanced degree preferred (i.e. Masters in Taxation)
Active CPA license
5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a public accounting firm
Proficiency in tax software and other accounting tools is highly desired (i.e. CCH Axcess, Thomson Reuters UltraTax)
Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
Seasonal overtime
Valid Driver's License
