Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include leading internal electrical construction activities for DC and AC systems, planning work schedules to meet production goals, and managing crew sizes
The role also involves overseeing the Site-Specific Quality Management Plan, conducting field inspections, and ensuring compliance with project drawings and AHJ requirements
Additionally, the manager coordinates commissioning and energization, including testing and troubleshooting, and serves as a primary safety mentor, enforcing procedures and leading safety talks
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
10+ years of experience in supporting large (utility scale) renewable energy projects, particularly in self-perform EPC settings
OSHA 30 and NFPA 70E are necessary
Proficiency with construction software like Procore and Bluebeam Revu, and scheduling tools such as Primavera P6
A strong understanding of HV substation and MV collection systems
The ability to travel to various project sites up to 50% of the time
