They are looking for a Civil Structural Engineer with direct substation experience to design concrete foundations and steel structures for substations that power the national grid.

Responsibilities

Develop engineering designs and calculations for concrete foundations and steel support structures
Analyze structures using tools like STAAD, MathCAD, and LPILE
Create and review engineering deliverables, working closely with designers and drafters
Ensure all designs meet ASCE 113 and other applicable codes and standards
Collaborate across teams to support high-quality, timely project delivery

Qualification

Civil Engineering degreeSubstation experienceSTAADMathCADLPILEReinforced concrete designStructural steel designUtility standards knowledge

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
3-7 years of civil/structural engineering experience in substation projects
Proficiency in STAAD, MathCAD, LPILE, or comparable analysis tools
Experience with reinforced concrete and structural steel design
Familiarity with transmission and distribution utility standards
