Responsibilities
Lead and review complex tax returns for: Individuals (1040), Partnerships / flow-through entities (1065), Trusts and related filings, Corporate returns
Provide proactive planning support including entity structuring and year-end planning
Ensure compliance with federal and state tax requirements
Stay current on tax law changes and advise on client impact
Manage client relationships and serve as a primary point of contact
Communicate complex tax matters clearly and confidently
Partner with internal leadership to support engagement success
Mentor and develop managers, seniors, and associates
Provide technical guidance and review support
Contribute to process improvements and workflow enhancements
Support recruiting and onboarding as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or related field
CPA required
10+ years of tax experience, public accounting experience
Strong technical expertise in: Complex individual taxation (1040), Flow-through / partnership taxation (1065)
Proven experience leading teams
Strong client management and communication skills
Preferred
Exposure to multi-state tax issues
Prior Director experience or Senior Manager experience leading complex engagements and teams
