Responsibilities
Champion the adoption of modern engineering and machine learning technologies by clearly articulating technical and business value
Partner on complex, high-impact initiatives that directly support enterprise goals and improve customer and associate experiences
Provide deep technical guidance while fostering an inclusive environment where diverse ideas are encouraged and developed
Promote engineering excellence through reusable architectures, shared platforms, and inner-source contributions
Communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organization, influencing decisions and technical direction
Serve as a trusted advisor within a defined technology or platform domain, shaping use cases and implementation strategies
Mentor and develop internal engineering talent while supporting efforts to attract and grow top technical expertise
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
7+ years of professional experience in software engineering
5+ years of experience building and operating machine learning systems and infrastructure
Preferred
Master's degree
7+ years of hands-on experience with languages such as Python, Java, Go, and SQL
6+ years of experience deploying machine learning models into production at scale
Strong understanding of end-to-end ML lifecycle management in large-scale production environments
Experience working with large language models, including prompt engineering, fine-tuning, evaluation, and alignment
3+ years of experience with data and streaming platforms such as Kafka, Airflow, Spark, and cloud data services
3+ years of experience with modern analytics platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake
Familiarity with MLOps and LLMOps practices, including model versioning, deployment automation, performance optimization, cost management, and latency reduction
