This role focuses on managing and overseeing reimbursement of recoverable expenses for a portfolio of properties, requiring strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilities
Calculate annual rent roll impounds and make adjustments as needed
Prepare and manage annual/periodic tenant billings for recoverable expenses in accordance with lease terms
Develop annual recoveries budgets and quarterly projections
Interpret and apply lease or contractual terms impacting recoverable expense calculations
Ensure compliance with reimbursement provisions in lease agreements
Calculate monthly recovery accruals and assist with property accounting
Respond to tenant inquiries and resolve billing disputes
Collaborate with Accounts Receivable, Property Management, Leasing, Legal, and Operations teams
Provide ad hoc reporting and support for cross-functional projects
Qualification
Required
Familiarity with lease interpretation and contract compliance
Strong understanding of accrual accounting principles
Proficiency in Excel
Preferred
Bachelor's degree (Accounting or Business preferred)
Minimum 2 years of accounting experience (property accounting or full-cycle GL preferred)
Experience with Yardi is a plus
