Responsibilities

Lead the establishment of an MSM campus in partnership with Bakersfield Memorial and Bakersfield Mercy Dignity hospitals delivering the six core rotations required by LCME
Manage the ACGME-accredited programs
Maintain institutional and program ACGME accreditation
Support and develop residency program directors
Oversee resident well-being
Manage GME operations
Develop new residency programs

Required

Doctoral degree in a related field
Board certification in a clinical specialty
Eligibility for California licensure
Minimum of five years in medical education, including three years in leadership
Academic rank of Associate Professor or higher
Demonstrated leadership, budgeting, and curriculum development experience
Strong relationship-building, collaboration, and communication skills
