Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models, with a strong focus on LLMs (GPT, LLaMA, Mistral, or similar)
Apply LLMs in real-world, production-grade healthcare use cases
Evaluate AI systems for output quality, hallucinations, reliability, and consistency
Build and maintain automated evaluation, benchmarking, and regression testing pipelines for AI models
Write high-quality prompts, system instructions, technical documentation, and evaluation artifacts
Optimize training and inference workloads on AWS, including GPU utilization and cost-efficient deployments
Collaborate across teams while independently owning complex problem areas in ambiguous environments
Qualification
Required
7+ years of hands-on experience in Machine Learning, NLP, or Deep Learning
Strong experience working with healthcare data, including domain-specific workflows and compliance considerations
Hands-on production experience with LLMs (GPT, LLaMA, Mistral, or similar)
Expert-level Python skills
Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow
Strong familiarity with HuggingFace ecosystems and modern model training workflows
Proven experience designing AI evaluation frameworks and testing pipelines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal direction
Preferred
Experience with fine-tuning and deploying LLMs at scale
Prior work on AI safety, robustness, or explainability in healthcare
Experience optimizing inference latency and cloud costs
