Responsibilities
Lead reverse engineering and analysis of legacy and competitive fuel system components
Develop and improve remanufacturing and rework processes for injector and pump assemblies
Support new product evaluations, validation testing, and DVP&R execution
Partner with manufacturing to optimize reuse of core components and drive cost reduction
Define specifications, inspection standards, and performance requirements
Mentor engineers and provide technical support to production and field teams
Qualification
Required
BS or MS in Mechanical, Automotive, or related Engineering discipline
5+ years of hands-on experience with fuel injection systems (common rail, high-pressure systems, injectors, pumps)
Strong CAD and GD&T skills; experience with validation and launch processes
Familiarity with ISO/IATF quality systems and APQP methodologies
Proven problem-solving ability in cross-functional manufacturing environments
