Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot following microservices and API best practices

Build and manage Apigee API proxies (Edge/Hybrid), including routing, traffic management, security, and transformations

Implement API security using OAuth 2.0, JWT, and API Keys, ensuring compliance with standards such as GDPR and HIPAA

Monitor and optimize API performance using Apigee Analytics, caching, rate limiting, and quota management

Deploy and manage APIs in cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud, Cloud Foundry) with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, and Git

Integrate and optimize databases such as MySQL, TimescaleDB, and DocumentDB

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior developers on API and Apigee best practices

Required
