Responsibilities

Develop processes to ensure quality, cost, and efficiency requirements are met on manufactured products
Interface with program managers to help successfully launch new tooling and robotic programs
Interface with robotic and tooling vendors
Evaluate, organize, and document all new and current production processes
Interface through Purchasing with material suppliers
Actively implement and track all production process improvements
Manages several projects simultaneously with accuracy
Prepare and review process setup documentation
Troubleshoot floor problems; find permanent corrective actions
Communicate with Quality, Production and Management on all Production process concerns
Conduct time studies on all production jobs and insure proper manpower usage and accurate costing
Performs other duties as required

Required

High school diploma or GED
Two- or four-year degree in Mechanical Engineering/related field or four years job experience
Certificate of completion of all the following: Design of Experiment training, Analysis, or motion/Ergonomics, SPC training, Mistake Proofing/Poka-Yoke, Value Analysis or related training
Understanding of how job performance affects product quality and customer satisfaction
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, employees, suppliers, and customers
Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics
Ability to manage several projects at once
Detail oriented
