Responsibilities
Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade security measures to protect DRC data, systems, and networks
Respond to system and network security breaches and lead incident response efforts
Test and identify vulnerabilities in networks, servers, and systems
Evaluate organizational security needs and establish best practices, standards, and controls
Ensure infrastructure and existing data remain secure through proactive security measures
Perform scheduled and ad-hoc vulnerability scans across networks, servers, and endpoints
Analyze vulnerability scan results, validate findings, and prioritize remediation based on risk and exploitability
Partner with IT and application teams to coordinate remediation activities and verify fixes
Tune vulnerability scans and reduce false positives to improve accuracy
Develop vulnerability metrics, dashboards, and executive-level security reports
Conduct ongoing testing and scans to proactively identify security weaknesses
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in Network Security and Threat Detection
10+ years of experience in Incident Response and Vulnerability Management
10+ years of experience administering Qualys
10+ years of experience with remediation documentation and patch management processes
4-year college degree – Highly Desired
CISP Certification – Highly Desired
