Responsibilities
Perform database administration and management for Oracle environments
Manage Oracle Database 11g and 12c, including installation, configuration, and maintenance
Conduct database performance monitoring, tuning, and optimization
Perform database planning, scaling, and capacity management
Design databases and data models, create indexes, and optimize queries
Configure and manage:
Oracle Data Guard
Oracle Enterprise Manager
Oracle ASM and ACFS
Oracle GoldenGate
Perform RMAN backup and recovery operations
Collaborate closely with development teams across the SDLC
Support enterprise operational models such as ITIL, ITSM, DevOps, and SOA
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related field
7+ years of experience in a development or service administration role
5+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience
Strong understanding of Oracle database architecture and physical structures
Experience with RMAN backup and recovery
Experience working with development teams
Hands-on experience with Oracle GoldenGate, Oracle RAC, and Oracle installations
Exposure to ITIL / ITSM / Managed Services / DevOps / SOA models
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
