They are seeking an Audio Visual Design and Sales Engineer to develop new sales opportunities, design high-end AV systems, and prepare bid proposals while interacting effectively with clients.

Responsibilities

Develop and grow new sales opportunities through personal engagement, research, professional networks, industry events, and digital platforms

Design high-end audio, video, and teleconferencing systems, including detailed parts lists for proposals

Attend site surveys and prepare bid proposals and pricing

Create CAD or Visio wiring diagrams, custom wall plate designs, and installation plans

Interact professionally and effectively with customers when a Project Manager is not present

Draft technical documentation, including operational instructions and user manuals

Assist the Sales Department with contract pricing

Perform additional related duties as needed

Required

Minimum of 3 years of AV systems design and proposal writing experience

Hands-on experience with signal flow, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and operation of AV/VTC systems, including: VTC codecs, Audio mixers, Control systems and AV automation, Amplifiers, microphones, wiring, Projection systems, video cameras, and related AV equipment

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with clients at all organizational levels

Ability to perform well in fast-paced or deadline-driven environments

Excellent communication and computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail

Valid Driver's License

Ability to pass background checks required for work at secure facilities

Ability to occasionally lift and move equipment weighing up to 40 lbs

Manual dexterity for computer and equipment operation

Ability to sit for extended periods
